Tee Masters Golf Club of St. Louis, MO, exists to inspire and empower the African-American community through tournaments and supporting activities for betterment of youth development and growth. We’ve been assisting kids for 40 years with underserved youth programs in golf, financial literacy, and more. Part of the PGA Reach program, our organization aims to make a positive impact on the lives of children in our communities.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to create lifelong opportunities for children, families, and community-building groups not generally exposed to or directly participating in the game of golf. Our work is the catalyst for the improvement of financial and social status and fostering of self-determination and other leadership qualities needed for academic achievement and successful living.
MORE THAN A GAME
At Tee Masters Golf Club of St. Louis, we believe that golf is more than just a simple game. Sports have the power to grow kids’ self-esteem and give them a sense of camaraderie with their peers. Through gaining new skills and being part of a team, players involved in our Black golf organization gain self-discipline, work ethic, and the confidence to become lifelong leaders.
CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIPS
We partner with Mathews Dickey, Better Family Life, and the Little Bit Foundation, three nonprofits that provide support services and opportunities for families in the St. Louis area, including employment training and placement, education, housing development, and clinical services. Our tournaments benefit local organizations that share in our mission of making our communities more sustainable and creating opportunities for kids.
